Having completed an MBA at London Business School, David has spent the last twenty-five years leading a number of companies in the manufacturing sector, forming Machine Tool Spares in 2006. In setting the core principles of the organisation, David was driven by a determination to deliver both excellence and innovation to customers. Working with a team of exceptional experience, creativity and skill, the business has grown steadily. In response to customer demand, Machine Tool Spares is now looking forward to extending the range of services it offers to its customers.

Chief Operating Officer

Darren Laverick is Chief Operating Officer at Machine Tool Spares. Darren also leads the Process Development team; he is a highly accomplished process engineer offering twenty plus years of experience working with Wickman multi-spindle lathes. With his intimate knowledge of Wickman machines, he is able to provide a wealth of innovative and practical solutions to the challenges facing our customers.

Paul Hackleton is our tooling and attachment specialist, overseeing the effective operation of all refurbishment work within Machine Tool Spares. Paul trained at Wickman, Coventry and has worked for almost thirty years with Wickman multispindle lathes. He brings an immense amount of expertise, experience and energy to the team.

Russ  has worked with Wickman machines for nearly twenty years; as Customer Service Manager, Russ is responsible for all sales enquiries and orders. With his encyclopaedic knowledge and understanding of Wickman multi-spindle machines and their component parts, Russ offers expert guidance and advice to customers, helping them to identify the correct spare part required. His technical knowledge and capacity to do this  is a critical element of the ordering process and where he adds real value to our customers.
